This is……………………….REBEL NATION!!!

In the world of AAU Travel & Club Ball. There are a sea of “sharks” waiting to prey on the weak. Using their smooth talking, money spending ways to hoard the best of the best. It’s truely rare to see a “program” emerge from the muck, stead fast on what they believe in. Many programs reputation is tainted by scandle and wrong doing. However “Team Rebel” does it the right way. Thru mentoring, skill development and a “Family” enviroment. They get it done.

PrepHoopsMag has been watching the growth of this emerging POWER in the Mid Atlantic Region for a while, and in the land where Team Final,Team Philly Aztecs,Team Nelson,PA Chargers, East Coast Elite all are in persuit of the crown. This Spring Team Rebel is KING! They sit atop of the hill.  With the Mid Atlantic District Final Four having finished up this weekend. Rebels Nation Brought Home some hardware:

15u-Runner Up (silver) d1 bid

14u-Champions (gold) earned #1 seed in pool at 14u Nationals in July

10u-Runner Up (silver) d1bid

9u-Champions (gold) #1 seed in pool play at 9u Nationals in July

An outstanding weekend for this program. The Crowing jewel for the program was the 14u District Championship. This group of youngmen have been on the hunt for this banner for 3 years. Congrats all around. Last year in the district final they suffered a tough 2point loss to Team Final. They re-grouped and re-tooled got back in lab and hoisted the banner for 2011. They would not be denied. Led by Head Coach Jamal Hunt, Ast.Coach Phil Bailey and Master Strategist Vaughn Covington. They have been able to put together the right peices, the right attitude and the right chemistry together to make a National Title run.

Stay tuned for more on Team Rebel….

Prep Hoops Mag (Young Gunz)

Daijon Womack “The Reason”
Daijon Womack is currently in 5th grade.
He’s a 5’0 Combo-Guard from South West Philly.
This kid is one of the next Stars from the city of brotherly love.
He can shoot the 3,finish with both hands @ the rim and locks up on D.
His trainer Braheim Wilson of E.T.G Sports helps Daijon work hard on his game.
He’s has a B-Average in school. Plays football wants to play in ACC or Big East in college.
There will be much more from Mr.Womack for years to  come.
AAU Club(s): Each One Teach One/Philly Freedom Stars

Fahmir Ali “The Scorer”
Famir is a stocky 4’11 4th grader who plays 11 &12u basketball on the circut.
He’s really been making a name for himself traveling with Delaware Royalty 11u.
He’s one of their Big 3. After seeing him play, you would never believe he’s only 10 years old.
Check him out on (www.bballspotlight.com) He’s a scoring guard. He has good size that allows him
to get to the rim and a nice stroke on his shot. Like Daijon he too is a football stud. He’s captain of the
No Limit Hurricanes. On the court he reminds you of UCONN Standout Khalid El-Amin.
Catch Fahmir on the circut. You won’t be disappointed.
